The Whirlpool 4317943 includes the following components:
- Two new plugs and cords
- One round 4 pin connection - 7.25" (L)
- One flat rectangle 4 pin connection - 10.50" (L)
- Two cord retainers
- Instructions
- Does NOT include an icemaker valve, bucket or shut-off arm
Whirlpool 4317943 Installation Tips:
- Your ice maker must be installed for up to 24 hours before it will begin to produce ice.
- The Whirlpool ice maker kit no longer includes a shut off arm, since top-bottom fridges (freezer on top) require a different shut off arm than side-by-side refrigerators. If you are buying a new icemaker or replacing an old one and cannot reuse your existing shut off arm, you'll need to buy one of the following icemaker shut off arms:
- Top-bottom fridges require the Whirlpool Ice Maker Shut Off Arm 627792
- Side-by-Side fridges require the Whirlpool Ice Maker Shut Off Arm 627913 (Whirlpool 2304354)
