If you have a microwave directly over your stove, you may not know that you have microwave filters that capture the grease, smoke, and debris from cooking. Much like a range hood, microwaves can offer ventilation and air purification.

Why do you need to change your Microwave Filter?

One of the first steps that you should take is to figure out how many filters you need. Some microwaves may need more than one filter.

After you’ve figured out how many filters you need, locate your microwave’s serial number. You can usually find the serial number on the inside of the microwave or underneath the microwave. If you can’t find the serial number for your microwave, you can measure your existing microwave filter or filters and look for your filter that way. If you can’t find the exact size you need, we recommend getting a size that is as close as possible to the filter you have. Once you figure out what size you need, you can move on to find the type of microwave filter that best fits your needs.
