I wiped and dried the fan blades before applying. But the glue did not stay stuck for more than 8 or 9 days. It needs a stronger adhesive.

But I went ahead and stick 2 of them on a couple of my ceiling fan blades as close as across from each other as possible. Have to wait a while and see if these filters collect more dust then the fan blades do on their own with no filters on them at alll? Or maybe the 2 filters will help keep the dust off the blades in the long run? No way to tell how well they’ll help for least several weeks? I will keep an eye on them
