Austin Air HEPA Purifier HM450 Plus - Sandstone

The Austin Air HM450-Sandstone Standard HealthMate Plus Air Cleaner draws over 250 cubic feet of air through a 4-stage filtration process containing 15 pounds of activated carbon saturated with potassium iodide and over 60 square feet of True Medical Grade HEPA. Also known as part number HM450 or B450A1, this Austin HealthMate Purifier is specially designed for the chemically sensitive individual. A mixture of Carbon-Zeolite and potassium iodide enable the HealthMate Plus to remove volatile organic chemicals (VOC's).

The Austin Health Mate Plus HM450 has a filter assembly that is a HEPA and Carbon/Zeolite unit. About a 15 pound mixture of solid activated carbon and zeolite is saturated with potassium iodide to help remove harmful gases for the chemically sensitive user. This standard pet air cleaner helps to trap approximately 99.97% of all particulates larger than 0.3 microns and is 95% efficient in removing particles 0.1 micron and smaller.

The air flow output from the upper deck is directed to one side. The bottom plate easily removes for convenient filter access. This Austin Air HealthMate Plus contains 60 square feet of True HEPA Medical Filter Medium and traps large dust particles. When the fan rating is on a high setting (400 CFM), it will clean the air in a room up to 1500 feet. There is a 5 year pro-rated verify under normal residential use for the filter and a 5 year warranty on all parts and labor.
