How do you install the Everpure EV9612-56, MC2?
- Shut off power to any equipment, if applicable.
- Shut off the filter system by turning off the water supply. Open the flushing valve to relieve the pressure.
- Hold the head firmly and turn the Everpure EV9612-56, MC2 cartridge to the left 1/4 turn until the rotation stops.
- Pull the Everpure EV9612-56, MC2 cartridge down and out of the head. Some water may drain out of the system. Throw away the used cartridge.
- Hold the head firmly, then align the new cartridge’s lug with the label on the head and insert the new cartridge into the head.
- Turn the Everpure EV9612-56, MC2 cartridge to the right 1/4 turn until the rotation stops.
- Turn on the water supply.
- Now, flush the cartridge by running water through the filter system to the drain for several minutes. Refer to the cartridge’s label for specific flushing times.
- NOTE: Be sure to shut off the flushing valve when finished.
- Turn on the power to the equipment, if applicable
